After hearing about this film for months, I just stumbled across the trailer for Rodgrio Garcia’s Mother and Child, starring Annette Bening, Naomi Watts, Jimmy Smits, Samuel L. Jackson and Kerry Washington. I’m currently watching the first season of HBO’s In Treatment with Gabriel Byrne, created by Garcia based on Hagai Levi’s Israeli series BeTipul. Garcia seems to have a flair for the character, seen evident in his other works including Things You Can Tell Just By Looking At Her.
Anyway, here is the trailer for Mother and Child. It’ll be released on June 17 through Hopscotch Films.
