Finally the trailer for highly anticipated Margaret Thatcher biopic has landed. And it looks to be an interesting release. Grand dame Meryl Streep plays Thatcher in what looks to be quite the sympathetic portrayal. But before, I pontificate on a film which few have seen, let’s just view the trailer.

The film opens in Australia on Boxing Day through Icon Films – aka ditch the sales, fight against Thatcherism capitalism, and indulge in a commercially backed biopic!
The Irony Lady is directed by Phyllida Lloyd and co-starring the Oscar winning Jim Broadbent and the marvelous Richard E. Grant.
Just yesterday, Streep launched the billboard poster to London’s press. A video has surfaced of the reveal and the mishap that ensued. Particular love is dedicated to Streep’s “THIS!!!” and “Phyllida, just yank it!”
